Former FBI Director Robert Mueller
Robert Mueller has ties to two incidents in Boston: James “Whitey” Bulger — as an assistant US Attorney in Massachusetts — and the Boston Marathon attacks. He joined the bureau one week before September 11 and retired twelve years later, not long after the Boston Marathon bombings.
